Five sepia illustrations relating to the proper way to cut a child's fingernails. In the first picture, a woman gnaws at the child's nails with her teeth. The next three small images illustrate good nail care. In the last picture, a mother cuts her child's fingers properly, with small nail scissors. Text captions beneath all images.

Circular letter from Sylvia Pankhurst, written from Charteris Road, Woodford Green, Essex. Giving details about the treatment of the Matteotti family in Italy following the assassination of Giacomo Matteotti on 10 June 1924. The Women's International Matteotti Committee was formed with the intention of sending a delegation to Italy to negotiate for the future welfare of Signora Matteotti and her children.
