DJs on the rota for the night included Too Hot To Handle' DJ Randall, the mighty Andy C, scratchmaster Hype, Bad Company, Darren Jay, Mampi Swift, Zinc, Optical and Shimon. They were accompanied by the lyrical maestros Rage, Fats, Flux, Rymetlme and the one and only MC GQ,. Scala was packed to the rafters with ravers who were driven to an absolute frenzy by the sounds of dark, naughty bassUnes and manic beats . Bad Company, Andy C and Hype all played T for tremendous sets; Hype absolutely hurting the crowd with his rough jungllst sounds. It was too jnuch for some who fled in sheer anguish and retreated to the upper floors in search of some light relief from DJs Skitz, Lakuti, Rodney P and Geko Beats. Wicked atmosphere, nice ravers, baaaad beats, bubbling MCs ; If you weren't there then make sure you don't miss their next unique event. Thcwgh now based in Paris EddyteDus have kept this In mind when they produced thetr first LP, the groovy High Life. No cheesy trance here. Its all about deep and funky beats, and this album truly lives up to its title. Zagreb vibes, Mr Funk sav^ the world and the eponymous track aie cinematic cruises that take you thr^ghout the contrasted diversity of 21st century Europe at night. Can you smell the rotten fragrance of war? Phat Bumper is a phunky stomper reminiscent of Daft Punk and Erik Rug's Daphreefunkateerz, but that's for the best, no pale plagiarlsmjiere! Starllte is one of those deep and funky slices of sexy house music coming straight from Paris. Come on! Go and talk to the models, they won't bite you! Back yn da daze gets you floating in a Brazilian haze, building up hypnotically aAund a nasty bass Ime. A lovely dreamlike carnival. Wjckedi There are also two vocal tracks .but mentioning since tftey are uninteresting. This promises first LP will entertain you from dusk till dawn and justify a parting llf^tyle ending in between the sheets with oR! gorgeous t^bes from Astern Europe, Not the albupi of the year but check it out!
